本作角色设定·原画由曾制作《Starry Sky》的绘师カズアキ负责。如标题所见，《星屑日像仪》是一个与星星有关的游戏。

【游戏背景】

星波岛——这里数十年会见到一次「能够实现愿望的彗星」，并因此闻名。

在这个被翡翠色海洋环绕的小岛上，高中3年级的你（玩家），与青梅竹马「昴」「波智」，还有附近的玩伴「星真」同一起创立了「摄影部」，过着平凡而快乐的日子。

而在距毕业只剩半年时，突然出现的转校生，还有作为老师回乡的儿时玩伴，给生活带来了一丝丝变化。

被大海与星空包围的南岛，你将会邂逅唯一的真心。
